Exciting news! The Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento is able to maximize the impact of your financial support through the #HalfMyDaf movement! Since 2020, the community has awarded over $70 million in grants, which is a small percentage of the $250 billion which sits in Donor Advised Funds across the country.
The goal of #HalfMyDAF is to move these funds to deserving nonprofits, like CRH, by randomly giving away unrestricted matching grants. If you are a DAF holder and commit to spending half of the money that was in your DAF on January 1st by September 26, 2025, the donation you make to us will be eligible for a match from #HalfMyDAF.
That’s a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $5,000 on June 27, 2025, and again on September 26, 2025, out of a pool of $2.25M in unrestricted funding—and four lucky nonprofits will get matches up to $25K.
