Residential Treatment Program

Comprehensive, individualized care for youth with high-level needs

Children and teens struggling with mental, emotional or behavioral issues may require individualized, intensive therapy with expert clinicians and residential staff in order to transition back to – and be successful in – a family environment. Our program provides around-the-clock care and supervision to youth ages 6-21 experiencing challenges such as:

  • Trauma and severe stress
  • Anxiety and depressions
  • Self-harming behavior
  • History of neglect; physical or sexual abuse

Our Approach

Our highly experienced, integrated team (clinicians, case managers, peer mentors and residential staff) work directly with each youth & family to identify their needs, prepare and implement and individualized comprehensive treatment plan, offer therapeutic groups and activities, and provide aftercare support with linkage to resources once youth return to the community.

The Process

Residential treatment programs provide short-term, specialized, intensive and therapeutic 24-hour care and supervision to stabilize youth with high needs. This allows successful transitions into permanent and supportive family placements.

Admissions

We contract with many major insurance companies including Kaiser, Anthem, and Magellan. We also accept public funding referrals from county social workers, Adoptions Assistance (AAP) and others.
