Honoring a Legacy. Building their Future.

Build strong futures for local kids

We have launched a collaborative effort to raise $1 million, supporting urgent needs and building momentum for tomorrow. This campaign ensures CRH can continue to provide life-changing care.

Your donation provides therapy, educational support, life skills training, and safe spaces where kids can simply be kids again. Together, we can break cycles of abuse and build a future filled with hope, healing, and possibility.

Every child deserves a safe tomorrow

Children deserve to grow up feeling safe, seen, and supported. But for children affected by abuse, neglect or mental health challenges, that basic right is too often out of reach.

The Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento is a lifeline for children who have nowhere else to go. We provide safety, healing, and hope to children who’ve faced unimaginable hardship — and help them find sources of  strength and possibility for the future.

Leading innovation and collaboration

In a time when many community services are downsizing and local nonprofits are closing their doors due to funding shortages, CRH remains a steadfast and reliable presence for the children and families who rely on us. We are not only adapting – we are innovating. By leading collaborative efforts with peer agencies, we are developing creative, community-based solutions that strengthen our collective ability to meet the evolving needs of local youth.  In Fall 2026 we will launch new services empowering former foster youth and young adults age 18-24 who are at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. This program will not only transform the lives of young adults experiencing housing insecurity but also strengthens the health and resilience of the community as a whole.

What your gift will do

This campaign enables us to stabilize services today, expand for tomorrow, and build the momentum needed to ensure no young person who needs our help will be denied care. Your support provides for vital services including 1:1 mental health treatment, a welcoming and nurturing home-like environment to recover from past trauma, a specialized preschool for the youngest survivors of abuse, and services for teens aging out of foster care.

Together, we can ensure that every young person who turns to the CRH finds not just shelter but hope and the chance to build a life beyond survival.
