Get to know Teresa Holman

Teresa came to the Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento at age 8. She has dedicated her career to supporting foster youth and addressing the systemic and educational barriers they face. Today, Teresa serves as a Fundraising and Grant Writing Consultant.    

She holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University, a Bachelor of Arts in Collaborative Health and Human Services with a minor in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from California State University, Monterey Bay and is pursuing her law degree at Abraham Lincoln University to become a nonprofit and adoption attorney.

Her lived experience and professional expertise drive her dedication to creating equitable opportunities for youth impacted by the child welfare system.
