Around the clock trauma-informed care and supervision
CRH is proud to offer one of only three “Welcome Centers” for children aged 6-17 in Sacramento County’s foster care system, providing around-the-clock care and supervision, healthy meals, transportation to school and appointments, and recreation while the County identifies permanent placements for them. Services include:
24-hour supervision by youth-development professionals
On-site medical clinic
Nutritional program
Youth peer mentors
Family visitation
Recreational activities
Founded in 1944 by an act of generosity of the Junior League and the Rotary Club of Sacramento, the Children’s Receiving Home has served nearly 80,000 Sacramentans. Now more than ever, CRH represents a place of hope for our region’s foster youth.
